Love Marias simple staple for the neighborhood. No frills little Italian bakery/carryout place from cookies to cannolis to take home to bake pizza delicious. Maria is wonderful you can spot her working the counter or helping in the back. Owner that takes pride in her store.
Exceptional local Italian bakery& fresh deli. Maria's Italian and Calabresi breads are outstanding.. her service is amazing - I was out of state for 3 months & the lady addressed me by name. Come on where do you find a local entrepreneur who cares enjoy remember a local fella? The store is packed with imported goodies reaching from Spain to Turkey - gotta give it a shot!
They did an awesome job with my daughter's Chicka Chicka Boom Boom birthday cake. I'm so pleased with how it turned out!
Been around Novi forever! Everything we've had from here has been delicious. Stuffed peppers, chicken explosion, corned beef egg rolls. You have to try their sandwiches as well, just fabulous. Maria is so outgoing and remembers her repeat customers by name. Their cookies are so good, whether giant chocolate chunk, or frosted themed cookies along with their cakes are worth it. A definite must try!
I stopped in here one day when I was craving something sweet. I was really surprised that they had more items than just bakery. Almost felt like a little bit of a deli too. I would like to say that I took pictures of the cookies before I ate them but I didn't. They were that good that my hubby and I ate them right away. We bought a chocolate chip cookie and a peanut butter cookie that had dallop of chocolate on top of it. We look forward to coming back and exploring more of the baked goods that they have, especially the bread.
